Implementation of wearable solutions at a sportswear manufacturer

Wearable scanners implementation

Client

It is a Polish brand of sportswear and accessories. It has 200 retail stores and 161 partner stands in Poland. It also has a total of a dozen stores in Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Romania and the Czech Republic. In addition to retail sales, it is present in over 30 countries through a developed wholesale network, and its products are available in over 600 multibrand stores worldwide.

Challenges

The client contacted Aspekt in connection with the construction of a new distribution center and the desire to adapt solutions based on Auto_ID technologies. The company chose a new WMS system, with the ability to work with Android OS devices. Aspekt was eager to take on the challenge of adapting solutions to the new warehouse infrastructure. The warehouse areas covered by their proposal are an e-commerce warehouse and a high-bay warehouse.

Solution

The customer chose ProGlove’s wearable solution. Lightweight, durable and ergonomic, the MARK 2 is ProGlove’s flagship wearable scanner. It brings even more integration between man, machine and process. With the MARK 2 wearable scanner, workers throughout the supply chain save up to 4 seconds on every scan because it’s always at hand, no matter the situation.
